So we are setting the information for Disney Dining and we wanted to ask what you were looking for. This is going to be linked off the main page like the rest of the information. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
You mean like 'rating categories' and such for the different food vendors? I'd like to see which restaurants only realistically serve one meal, personally... and which restaurants are "family friendly" (e.g. Boma at AKL, the Luau, most of the 'fast food' venues) vs. which ones are good if you're trying to get a break from kids for a while (e.g. Jiko, California Grill or Victoria & Albert's) ?
I agree - family friendly restaurants, and ones that are more geared to adults. Maybe dress codes (Narcoosee's does not allow flip flops or tank tops) Price ranges for the different restaurants
Maybe special offers (like the surprisingly unknown deal at MGM that includes dinner at one a 3 restaurants and special seating for Fantasmic)... reservation suggestions (e.g. if you want to go to the luau, reservations should be made as soon as possible before your trip, or Hollywood & Vine reservations should be made no later than the day before if dinner is desired in 'prime time', or restaurants that tend to have shorter waiting lists/reservations available day-of) Price points would definitely be good, too. ; And special mention of the 'unique' dining experience restaurants... like Coral Reef for the tiered seating with view of the large aquarium (sometimes complete with divers), or the "African Marketplace" buffet format of Boma. And maybe mentioning that if you encounter a dish you love you can ask for the recipe and often times will get it (if the restaurant staff don't know how to get it, make a note of the dish and restaurant and talk on-site hotel staff... our concierge actually had special sheets to record what dishes from what restaurants and our email address. ; I even sent email several months after our trip to request a recipe from the luau and they were quite happy to provide it!) ; This works for cocktails, too.
Well we tossed up the Dining or Dinning section of Disneymagic. (So far i found 2 different spelling for that word) Check it out when you have sometime!
