I thought these came out kind of interesting- taken at the little glass shop next to the Main Street Bakery.

D700 & Sigma 150 macro- spot metered off the flames.

Totally excellent shots. I'm especially pleased to see the complicated jet pattern of the torch.

I'm not saying that's the highpoint, just something that fascinates me. I'm a sucker for the patterns of reflection and refraction in the glass, too.

Jeff, your shots are getting me interested in the 150. Have you tried it with a TC?

Nope- I have two Kenko Pro300 TC's (1.4x and 2.0x) but I read that Sigma lenses do not play well with anything but Sigma TC's.

Plus (as many macro lenses do) it tends to focus hunt a bit even with the focus limiting switch on- I imagine any TC would just make that all the worse.

All that aside- I do like the lens and would reccomend it.

very neat... i like the fact that they added an "attraction" of sorts to the store with scheduled "show times". fun to watch.

I was standing over here- so I did not have to shoot thru nose-print-glass. ;)

Great shots everyone! I was wondering where this is done. I can't remember or even think of if I have ever seen this.
