    • The numbers on the buildings in Frontierland correspond to actual years when the style of buildings would have been constructed.

    • Frontierland follows a geographic pattern as you walk through it. The transition from Liberty Square represents the east while Thunder Mountain represents the west. There is even a strip slicing across the walkway which is referred to as the “Little Mississippi”.

    • The name of the trail boss of Frontierland is Texas John Slaughter. He is named after a classic Disney western that appeared on TV in the 50’s and 60’s.

    • Frontierland is one of only two lands that does not have a spoke off of the central plaza. You must walk through Adventureland or Liberty Square to get there.

    • The proprietor of Big Thunder Mountain is Professor Cumlus Isobar (the “rainmaker”).

    • Harper’s Mill, on Tom Sawyer Island, is named after Harper Goff, who was one of the people behind the 20,000 Leagues under the Sea attraction.

    • Fort Langhorn on Tom Sawyer Island was originally named Fort Sam Clemens. The name was changed in 1996 to coincide with the release of the film, “Tom and Huck”.

    • The voice of Henry in the Country Bear Jamboree is voice by Pete Renaday who also voices Abraham Lincoln in the Hall of Presidents and announces on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.

    • Look down when you are in Grizzly Hall. Those are claw marks on the floor below.

    • The Frontierland Shooting Gallery used to use lead pellets. The switch was made away from these due to the time and expense to repaint this attraction.
