Since it's been a while since I've been to Mickey's Very Expensive Xmas Party, I voted for that one.

In related news, today's Southwest fare sale saved me some money. Check your reservations to see if you can do the same.

I saved $104 dollars. Thanks for the tip to check the fares.

I voted for “None” for myself… airfare would have to drop another $100 for me to be able to justify the Party Ticket Cost. But I’m fine with not going since I didn’t really do rides during the party, or character meets much anymore, and was mainly just waiting for the fireworks and parade (and the price of the ticket for just that is not that reasonable to me).

I'm feeling more 'spendy' this year as I have had loads of Rewards cash on my Disney Rewards card - I will likely use it all up by the end of my September trip - but essentially, all of my drinks, food, and charges from my February and June trips have been covered by rewards, and I still have around $500 left to go for September. I won't mind having a fatter charge bill in December given I haven't had any for the entirety of 2026 so far!

(Of course to get all those reward points built up, I had to spend $150K renovating my house, and putting most of those renovation charges on my Disney Visa, just to get the points).

So when and how to we get the Xmas party tickets? I've never done one, so do we just get it individually or as a group? And when - do they sell out quick? Consider me the rookie/boot/newbie/greenhorn/fledgling with this event.

I just bought my Party ticket, then again I am the life of the party. so there is always that...

But... John Wolfy Wolf is gracing us with his presence this year, so I have competition. Are we asking him for ID to verify that it's really him? Asking for a friend.

Whoooopi ‍♂️‍♂️ this’ll be the third or fourth time I’ve seen her do the Candlelight… why couldn’t it be a few before or after?? IMG_6450.jpeg

I like Whoopee, but what I'm really bummed about is just missing retired Philadelphia Eagles football player Jason Kelce doing the narration. GO BIRDS!

For me it’s just having seen her multiple times…. Though I’m really thinking about booking a dining package on the 1st for Gary Sinise. And maybe treat my dad to it as he arrives (on his own trip) on the 30th. He’s not seen many movies… but is impressed by all he does for military families.

I'm pretty OK with any of the narrators, but I admit having already seen Whoopie, I wish someone else had fallen on our date. Just to keep the variety going. I've actually never repeated a narrator in 7 viewings...until now.
