Thanks. Yes, they had a "photo tour" that let you in 2 hours before the main gates opened. Basically they just walked you over to where Fifi was parked, then you were on your own. I was actually fairly disappointed. A lot of the a/c weren't on the line, still being towed out of hangers, others were still covered, and half way thru the time allotted the huge orange cones and tape were put around the parked planes. Even so it was worth it. If you bought that you also had the opportunity to sit in the photo pit, which I also did. It was fairly show center and not at al crowded. Best thing about it was a tent for shade, all the water you could drink all day, and a private Port-o-Let. Erich AeroShell AT-6 reflected on an F-86 Sabre.
