Damselfly from McKinney Falls SP

This was the only damselfly that stopped long enough to catch. But they aren't as skittish as the dragonflies.

I did see a red damselfly at home later that afternoon...and the camera was inside. Sheesh.

Nice! wow these guys are tiny! How close did you get?

I'd have to look at my original file to be sure, but I think these ones were from a few feet away. My one from last summer was about 18 inches, but that was with the 28-135. And I could easily slide in at ground level to get to them.
