a big tmip congratulations to our very own michael, master of the train shot. i was fortunate enough to spend some time over the weekend with michael at the cass railfan weekend, cass scenic railway, cass west virginia, where michael took both first and third in the greenacres photo contest. his winning shot was stunning, perhaps he'll post it to this thread.

Here are shots similar[nb]Similar because the purpose of the contest is for the MSR&LHA to get publication rights for the images. ; While I don't mind allowing them to use the shots for publicity and historical purposes there is a vaguely worded line about assigning other rights to the State of WV that I didn't like. ; Since I shot them in burst mode, I used the next shot in the group so I could keep all the rights to my favorite image but still enter the contest.[/nb] to the ones that won:

Thanks guys! ; There was some tough competition this year. ; Between the weather last year (dense fog on the mountain) and the great setups at the night shots, there were several nice photos there.
