Children's charities

Does anyone know what Charities sponsor children to go to Disney? (Canadian Charities)

 

The "Make A Wish" foundation is a big one.

 

There's also that one that takes children to WDW for the Day! ;

When I remember the name, I'll post back.

They fly out of Toronto Pearson Airport.

We are the parents of several handicaped children. We have found most charities are specific to the disease. Like Make a wish is usually just terminal kids.

We have travelled numerous times with Starlight/Starbright Foundation.

What i would like to do is find a charitie that DisneyMagic can support.

My goal is to help one child a year (start small and work my way up to 50 children a year)

We have been in contact for many years with children's charity. With most the kids have to "qualify" to get their "wish". Such as, make a wish the kids have to be terminal to qualify. I was just at a fund raising for Starlight/Starbright Foundation. They support kids who "fall through the cracks" of qualifying for other Foundations. ;

What I really like about them is once you have your wish, they do not forget about you. They host several "family events" per year for the families that already had their wish. ; ;D
