Canon Promotions

Im just wondering if this is something they do often and if so, do the products change and how soon do the discounts come. I have my eye on the 55-250 and dont want to buy it and July 20th see a rebate for it.

there has been a canon rebate promotion each ofthe past few years. I think the products eligible have been fairly consistent which newer stuff phasing out older stuff.

So does that mean you think there'll be a new bunch of reabtes when this one expires or there wont be any new rebates until next year?

The next one won't start until Sept/Oct at the earliest. I think last year it actually ran Nov to Jan.

I was trying to time when to buy my new lens but I dont want to wait until Fall. Ill still be going places this summer I would like to use my lens at (and of course I need lots of practice before I go back to Disney in December!)
