Well, after living near Ottawa for over 7 years, we finally loaded up the kids and headed into the city for Canada Day. ; We wandered around the market for a few hours, stopped by A-Channel and then headed to the Hill. It was a huge crowd. ; Some of the musical acts were a bit disappointing... lots of slowm down-tempo stuff. ; This one woman from Quebec had me expecting to see people jumping from the peace Tower! Blue Rodeo really got things going at the end and the fireworks were phenominal. As for trying to get off the Hill when it was over... OMG!!!! ; Crowds don't bother me in the slightest, but DW was freaking a little. It was chaos. Oh well, now we can say we've done "the big show" for Canada Day.
