Karen and Kailey became very ill last night and i had to call 911 to come pick us up and take us to the Hospital, Once we got there they split us up and Kailey went in one room and Karen went in another one.... After blood work and an IV they released Kailey at 12 noon. I called Disney and they came and picked us up, Karen has been admitted for 24 hours of observation. The Doc didn't like her blood work. We are not sure what Kailey got sick but we are about 90% sure Karen got really bad food poison from Magic Kingdom..... I will post more when I know more and have some time....
OMG.... Sean... I wish we were closer to try and help out. ; I'm sure Karen will be fine... and glad kailey bunced back quickly. Please tell me you have travel/health insurance!!!??? Thinking good thoughts from here.
We hope they both recover quickly. ; What a shock but you can never be too careful and hopefully everyone is well when it's time to travel home. ;
I hope everyone is Ok I guess that explains your absence at the meet hope everyone has recovered and you can enjoy the rest of your stay.
Oh my gosh Sean!!! ; Thats horrible,,, hope there feeling better today. ; ; By any chance were eating anything at the Epcot friday. ; Reason I ask, is thats where were and ate at the Electric Umbrella and DW was violently ill in the middle of the night (but felt better later saturday)
Yes everything worked out ok. ; I ended up with food poisoning and Kailey had some sort of viral thing. ; It took me much longer to bounce back unfortunately. ; Then Sean got sick and it made the trip home really long, but we are all back and alive and kicking. ; Not the trip we were looking forward too, but we did have a few nice moments.
Glad you are all home safe hope you all fully recover soon and the next trip will work out better. Do you know where you ate that made you sick?
Oh yes, I know exactly where I ate and complained almost afterwards of not feeling well. ; But I am not sure I should scare everyone away. ; Let's just say the 'Rays' just weren't shining down on me that day.
