Last Tuesday I was home from work (2 different doctor appts) and got a chance to see what my feeders look like in the early morning. ; This was a chance to try out my new 55-300 lens. ; Well the lighting was not the greatest (Howie's had the same issue at Frosythe) and I tried using my tripod. ; That yielded these results, not the greatest (1600 ISO and some blur) but it was fun to see the birds. ; I get the red headed woodpecker every so often (waiting to see if the flicker shows up). ; I love seeing a bunch of juncos when there is fresh snow on the ground, it makes for great contrast. ; Now that my 2nd job is done for the fall, I will have more time to work on my photography. ; Typical sparrows eating all the food, plus the ghost of a finch.
