My name is Jeremy, and I'm JermsWorld or Mouserunner on a number of other forums. ; MouseRunner was the original, primarily because I ran Half/Full Marathons with Disney and other outside vendors. ; One day, I created a slideshow of my Disney pictures, and I got one too many "you went to Disney again" emails from the family. ; I wished that there was a podcast that I could create a slideshow, send it in, and share it with my friends in the Disney network. ; None existed, so I was about to stop creating them entirely. ; Then it came to me, why couldn't I do a podcast? ; A podcast that anybody could submit pictures in a slideshow format, or just their favorite shots. ; Jermsworld was born. A year ago, around May 15th, the podcast was born. ; In January of this year, I got some great software that enhanced the show. ; Unfortunately, the idea of showing pictures from other people never took off. ; Even though I still ask for them. ; Magic Joe over at the Window to the Magic podcast called my show a "Piccast." ; And the name kind of stuck. ; So possibly, I'm the first piccast on the internet. ; Dedicated to amateur pictures of family destinations. ; But mostly Disney. As for me, I'm just a hair over 30 and live in Northern California. ; My family visits Disneyland quite a bit, but we do have DVC out in Florida. ; It use to be a once a year trip out to WDW, but lately it's been more like 2-3. ; My family consists of two boys, both under 5, and my wife of almost 10 years. ; I bought my first "real" digital camera (Nikon's D60) back in March of last year and have fallen in love with taking pictures. ; The one thing I wish I could learn from taking pictures: how to take pictures on attractions with no flash, and have them come out clear. ; So why am I here? ; Big fan of Tim's. ; Since the days of MouseTunes and even the early days of Magical Definition. ; Then I heard about this awesome event PixelMania, which led me here. ; My wife and I are trying to find a way to send me to the event in December, which I'll be going by myself. ; It sounds like a wonderful idea and I hope I'm able to go. ; Can't wait to share with you some of my pics, and can't wait to learn a thing or a million ; . ;
