I took a trip down to Camden where the USS New Jersey is "docked" and took a tour with my father. ; Today was the day that I shot on manual the whole time. ; It is definitely an adjustment, especially when you are going in and out doors frequently. ; I was pleased with the results. ; Here are some of my shots. The last plaque - there is also one on the U.S.S. Constitution, which is very fitting since that ship took the original Marines to the shores of Tripoli. Nice series!
Re: BB 62 - USS New Jersey - Last Set Thanks so much Roger and Jeff. ; I really had fun playing around in manual. ; It was interesting to have to always think about what I was doing. ; Here are the last few. [attachimg=1] [attachimg=2] I cropped this a bit, then realized that the three people were right in front of the turret, oh well. ; Plus the sky just sucked for the 30 minutes or so we were in the front of the ship. ; We had been on board for 3+ hours and the cold was getting to us. Thanks Dennis! ; I really had a good time, only I want to go back to get some shots I was not happy with and also without the camera so I can listen more intently to the tour guide!
