I've seen lots of species of birds in my back yard but this is the first time for a bald eagle. ; I've spotted them in the winter time sitting on the ice on the lake about a mile away, but this is the first time up close. ; Well, sort of up close. ; I was about 100 yards away. ; He appeared to be picking away at a fish that he had caught. ; I took the shot with my C-60 point and shoot digital camera and enlarged it in photoshop. ; Some time in my future I hope to own a digital SLR with a nice long telephoto lens.
