I took this picture back on April 15th. ; I thought at first it could be the Soarin building but it does not seem in the right place and I had never seen it or noticed it. ; Any thoughts?
Just looked at the sat. picture on Google and you guys are correct, it is Soarin. ; I had never noticed it before.
I know Disney uses a color on many backstage buildings called "Go Away Green" maybe this is "Go away blue" Its kind of like never noticing how close Test Track is to Mexico. Weird!
While @ WDW in November 2006 for a Conference, our group was driven around the entire backstage of EPCOT so we could go to private dinner @ Coral Reef. It was amazing to see how close many of the attraction buildings are to each other. The same goes for DHS as we were driven backstage there too. We came out from backstage from the gate right by the Jedi Training Academy. We started off wathing the opening sequence of Indiana Jones & then we had dinner on the show floor while they did the fight sequence all around us. Sorry to venture off topic, but that was a lot of fun.
The skyline or sightline around Epcot was a major concern during design and construction. Those that have come along since that time have completely lost sight of the original vision for this park in that regard. It is quite disheartening, and I don't let myself think about it too much...
