So according to the countdown its (just) 250 days to Pixelmania! Any ideas what kind of trouble we can get into? Like I said before, I will be arriving at Disney that Sunday (the last day of Pixelmania ) but maybe able to swing Saturday. But if there is something going on that I REALLY need to be there for I maybe able take another day or so off of work to come play. Suggestions - anybody?
I'm sure the planning committee is hard at work filtering through great ideas, but they probably want to stay out of trouble!
How about "Street Photography"? ; We all take pics of the "things" at WDW. ; How about pics of some of the interesting candid people shots or the artisans there? ;

The one thing I am in desperate need to know how to do is how to take pictures in rides. ; Do I have the right equipment? ; It's a question that is driving me NUTS. ; I have a D60, and when I turn the flash off, the photos are blurry. ; That's one of the things I'm hoping to get from this awesome event. Also, is there any material that we can post on our websites/podcasts so we can get the word out? Great idea, and I am REALLY looking forward to this event.
Best photograph of a cocktail? OK, skip the photograph and lets just have a drink (or more). Maybe we could do the lounges around the monorail loop?
Big River? OK, but I think Jelly Rolls & Atlantic Dance Hall are in some ways more fun. Expensive though... couple of days ago I dropped nearly $100 at Jelly Rolls (which is easy to do).
I went to the Big River in Chattanooga and loved it. I'd like to try the one at Disney at some point.
River Roost always has some good drinks and entertainment (as long as the Piano Player is still there)... ; Also, would we qualify as a "Grand Gathering" for any of their special events (at an added cost of course - and did I spill any beans on the "premium" - Sorry if I did)
After being on the fence for the past two months, I made my DVC reservation, currently waiting to see which hotel choice I get. ; My plans right now is to leave Tuesday night and spend a day at Universal (haven't been there since the early 90's) and then all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and flying home late Sunday. My question, in my planning I hope to attend my first Christmas party. ; Is there going to be a meet at the party, and which day is the meet? ; This is an awesome idea and I can't wait to attend.
the park hours for december have not been released yet, per the webpage. ; i will check back on this in a few days to see if there is anything new. ; the dates for the christmas party have been released so we might be able to move on that end at least. ;
Been keeping my eye on those park hours too. ; Sounds like the December 3rd might be cheaper and less crowded for a Christmas Party. ; I've got my travel agent on hold until the first of next month. As for drinking, how about the new tequila bar in the Mexican Pavilion? ; No kids on this trip, no driving except for Universal on that Weds, so I'm all about some good clean adult fun ; ;
December 3rd would work decently for me as I want to do the CandleLight Processional on the 4th (of course, I can do the Party on Sunday or Monday by myself if necessary)...
