I have taken it too. But I have to admit I completely copied Tim on this one. All credit for this shot must go to Tim. Thanks Tim! I have also taken it during the day, but I cant find the picture. During the day, close up you can see some rust taking hold at the base of the face. [This attachment has been purged. Older attachments are purged from time to time to conserve disk space. I was just about the opposite - I had never really photographed the clock until I saw Tim's clock shot. I have shot it a few times since, including my most recent trip last month: My camera was held up a bit to try to get over the heads of all the people...and the light was poor on the clock as it was later in the day. Fully inspired by Tim's shot! I'm likely now as addicted as you with the clock - I'll probably shoot it every trip.
Great shots everyone. The thought of shooting this never crossed my mind. However, seeing these has me wishing I was there now so I could photograph the clock for myself.
I love these photos. Have always had a thing for clocks, but never really noticed the clock at MK. Maybe it is because I am so close to the ground :-\ Sean will have to be the expert in taking the more level photos of the clock.
Nope, never took a picture of the clock. I DO, however, always get a snap of the Ice Cream Parlor window and the Emporium ... and I really have no reason why for either of those.
I thought I had pictures of it, but I don't. Now I'm going to have to make sure that for future trips I get a picture of it.
