This was taken from Japan just after an Illuminations fireworks display as the smoke was clearing and drifting over toward England. I cloned out a lightpole that I thought took away from the mood.
That is an absolutely gorgeous photograph! I checked out your others on pbase and they are all beautiful but the ones from Hawaii make me long to go back. :-* Just lovely.
Beautiful light captured there Scott. I love fog/smoke with light at night...it really is atmospheric.
what can i add that hasn't been said already, that is one fine photograph, that needs to be large print and hanging on your wall if that was mine, i'd be entering it in every contest that would let me ps. would take out that 1 light square in the tree trunk, but that's my personal taste
