Oh yes, to me Horizons was the epitome of what Epcot was supposed to be about. Don't get me wrong, being a huge space fan I've come to quite enjoy Mission Space.. but Horizons had so much going on, it was so detailed. And I miss the time when the future was a place where we could find new and better ways to do things. The future's here.. and I kind of feel like we've been ripped off. Where's my underwater cities, and quasi futuristic jumpsuits?

World of Motions and Horizons will always be two of my favorites. Actually EPCOT circa 1987 will forever be my favorite version to date. It just had such a wonderful feel to it. I don't care how dated it may have been, as a child I was wowed by the technology and dedication to make that park what is was at the time. Even Spaceship Earth nowadays, I still ride it and think how amazing it is that they fit an attraction into a geodesic sphere. I guess I'll just have to continue to adapt to the way it is now, because I can't get back the EPCOT that used to be, lol.

That's the same about "parking ten paces away from the ticket booths at DL."

Or going under the monorail track to said parking lot. Going under the track on DL Drive to the "Worlds Largest Parking Garage ever designed by a CEO that isn't an engineer(tm)" doesn't have the same feel.

This was my favorite ride in all of WDW. The new Epcot rides dont to have the same vision and purpose as the old ones...and yet I keep going....
