    malestrom is one of those rides that gives me fits. tough to focus in there with all of the black light being used.

    Yes, Maelstrom is very hard. Never got to take the Edsel in there.

    I agree- I struggled in there and came away with very little. Salvaged what few I had with a lot of PP. ::)

    Sigma as well or with the 50? I've reserved a super-telephoto zoom VR for June, but I just got the 50/1.4. Now I may want to rent the Sig as well....

    Yep- Sigma as well. That is THE dark ride lens for me anyway. ;)

    The only decent images I ever got from Maelstrom was with my camcorder, not a camera. Far too brutal in there. The Sony Nightshot feature, however, does have it's uses ... and this is one of them.
