From last weekend...last one through the gate for the night. http://www.flickr.com/photos/capturelifeinaction/sets/72157611657424386/detail/
Awesome! ; Nice work Jeff! ; These almost make me want to go in and get some pictures, but then I'd have to use the chicken door to get out[nb]Michael's stomach doesn't like big drops especially not several in quick succession[/nb]
we are getting quite the collection of specialists on here, first it was mr contemporary, now we have mr hdr, great shots
I was wondering if you got a boiler room shot. ; They didn't mind you stopping with a tripod on your way to the elevators? ; Did they make you stow it securely before sending you into the Twilight Zone? ; Just curious as you know everyone is going to want to try doing this. ;
The lengths that these designers go through to make things realistic is amazing! I'v actually never been on the Tower, but actually think I might man up for it this time around. The boiler room scene is excellent!
Thanks everybody- Nope- they did not seem to mind at all. ; I went through the gate about a minute before they closed it- the few people who came in after me went past and onto the ride. ; I kind of slowly worked my way up the walk taking pictures with the tripod and wandered into the lobby area 15-20 minutes later. ; The CM's chatted with me and I took a couple more with tripod inside the lobby. ; Then they let me go right through the next room without watching the movie and take some more pictures in the Boiled Room. ; And then they let me ride the ride on the way out- I just held the tripod in one hand and the camera in the other (which completely thwarted my attempt to change my camera settings in the dark/moving ride and grab the empty car night dhs view from the top shot- oh well- there's always next time.)
