Thank you for all the efforts as well, on behalf of us non DVC people. Now if only we can get Gary to host a Cabana beach party at Stormalong Bay. Also of note, Gary and Sherry won't be arriving until Wednesday so they won't make Tuesday's moonlight magic event. I'm tagging them in this post in case their travel plans can change and they can get signed up for it. @WDWFigmentGary ~Joanie
Can you update the arrival list at the top…. I’m not flying out until the 20th, New Gary has changed resorts, and I don’t think John has had his info added yet either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
@jbwolffiv When are you flying in and flying out? I will update the information on the main Pixelmania page when you let me know your details
I fly out on Thursday December 12th arriving about 5:30 pm to MCO. Leave to head home on Sunday the 15th at 7pm. I am a guest at Casa de Gary.
Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel our December Pixelmania trip. We'll miss you guys this year!
NOOOOOO!!! The Riff-Raff Troop will be incomplete without y’all. Hopefully see you next October. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You best come with an excused absence note the next time Pixelmania rolls around. Of course you can always change your mind and still come anyway. We would welcome you back with open arms, but a suitable bribe will make our arms open wider.
I still exist! Joanie knows, but no one else does since I haven't been able to get onto this site on any computer, at any location, for over a month! No idea what's going on - but I have one laptop at home that I can still log in here with using Chrome. My desktop at home won't log in on Chrome, Edge, Explorer, my work computer and laptop also won't log in, and even my iPhone stopped logging in using Chrome or Safari. All report some strange DNS server issue - I tried all the tricks, clearing cache, restarting, etc. I don't know how long this laptop will get in, but for now, I can see what's happening. Joanie added me to the dining reservations at Toledo, Biergarden, and 50's Prime Time. I am still a +1 with my friend Dave from Texas joining us. I got all my park reservations for each of the planned days - do I need to specifically sign up for the Candlelight package or is that handled through the reservation for dining (I forgot). Also, do I need to sign up for or pay for the Jollywood event? My buddy Dave doesn't have a ticket yet - I assume he needs to buy one to reserve too. Also - I'd be interested if anyone has any additional 'on the side' dining plans such as on AK night - I'm driving out Monday AM, so if anyone wants to do a Tiffin's or Jiko that night, I'd be up for it (Dave would too). I'm driving up, so I'll have my car - if additional transport needed on Wednesday to Gran Destino, or from there to Yehaa Bob, I can seat 5 total, so with Dave and I there's room for 3 more. I need to try to do some reading to see what I've missed - if we have daily plans yet for specific meetups or anything. But for now, just popping in to say Hey, and I haven't fallen off the edge of the world (appropriate just after what used to be called Columbus Day).
The candlelight package at the Biergartin seems to be something that you buy day of, since we haven't seen any announcements about a separate restaurant reservation with that included in the reservation. ~~Edited to add that Red and I will rebook the Biergartin reservations to reflect the CANDLELIGHT package reservations.~~ Do not try and do this yourself as we will put everyone on the two reservations for the beer garden for candlelight processional. Of course Disney could make an announcement later on and we'd have to refigure out that reservation, but for now we haven't heard any news that I know of about doing anything different or special other than just making a reservation at the Biergartin and then telling the server you want the candlelight package. ~Definitely get your Jollywood tickets ASAP.~ Other than what has been publicly posted on the main Pixelmania thread, we haven't hashed out additional plans. Those things are still under consideration by the planning board. There is a thread on the planning board page discussing that. Hopefully you can make it to the Zoom meeting on November 8th and you've gotten your invitation already. Let me know if you don't have any invitation to the Zoom meeting and I'll resend it to you. ~Joanie
Looks like we will not be using the Lightning Lane options… they just announced the new system that starts on 10/30… magic kingdom is upwards around an extra $400 for the day to get the LL pass. ♂️ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The super duper close to $400 a day option for Magic Kingdom that Disney just announced is sort of like the deluxe lightning pass where you pick three rides 23 days in advance and I don't think you have to (edited) SELECT A TIME FOR ANYTHING ELSE. I GUESS YOU JUST GET IN LINE BEHIND EVERYBODY ELSE? The other two lightning Lane options will still be in effect which means individual lightning lane purchases and then the lightning Lane multipass.
@mSummers now that you know who the narrator is for candlelight processional are you and your dad in for that? We're going to have to rebook our reservations for that and request candlelight processional package and I think you and your dad were the only ones that hadn't committed to candlelight professional
We're doing the earlier candlelight processional. That's why we have a lunch reservation at the Biergartin.
Wow - I never paid for the regular lightning lane, so it's pretty clear I have no intention of paying for the new double-secret probation version. Glad to see I'll actually get a different Candlelight narrator (*who I know) - I've gotten Whoopi twice and Blair Underwood twice. Admittedly last Pixelmania the narrator was new too - but I had no idea who Draymond John was. Macchio I know - though unlike most who probably liked him most as Karate boy, I liked him best from My Cousin Vinny. Now THAT would be a fun Candlelight narrator - Joe Pesci.
