OPINIONS NEEDED, we went again this year to the new york botanical garden holiday train show, i have here the model of the hauptmann conservatory, which is one of those grand conservatory greenhouses so popular in the gilded age for botanical gardens and conservatories. this is the site of many of the nybg set piece shows, including both the holiday trains show and the orchid show. this is a slight HDR preset applied and then i toned down the exposure by 2 stops, is this too yellow on everyone's monitors?? i want opinions before i go mass processing the show shots, the light was mostly warm spotlights with sun through the glass, with many shadows here and there as the show is built around and in the permanent plants in the conservatory.

Yes, the color balance is definitely skewed towards the yellow/red end of the scale. Is there anything white in the scene you can put the WB eyedropper on?

i can drop it n those wood chips in the foreground, i actually played around with a different preset and ended up with a slightly modified version that looks a lot better inside the main greenhouse area in the center dome

tough to shoot in this room, this is actually the prentry to the main show, you have tickets timed in 15 minute intervals, and they control the input through a couple of spots, the show is linear so at the end you can go around again but you make that decision right at an exit point. we have a family membership, but this is an extra ticket event this is grand central station

now in the main show, inside the main conservatory area, this is the new york public library, that magnificent edifice up by bryant park in midtown manhattan. new york if one takes the time to research and travel there has some astounding buildings

and of course winding all through the plants and models are this g scale trains many from fallen flag railroads that were prominent in new york, here a ny central painted locomotive
