There is a classic Twilight Zone episode called The Invaders where a lonely old woman in a cabin is terrorized by little robots. These days this one is terrorizing visitors to the Hollywood Tower Hotel's library.

Turning to the left, we see the Mystic Seer fortune-telling machine. William Shatner matched wits with the little demon during his first appearance on the Twilight Zone.

Following up on the photo above, I found a fortune from the Mystic Seer lying on the desk below the machine.

This ventriloquist dummy behind the photo counter appears to be a recent addition. He doesn't look too happy, does he?

I never noticed the card from the mystic seer. Could that be a new addition also?

It could be new, or it could be something that's hard to notice because it's dark in there. I think it was only in one of the libraries.

It's not Edward G. Robinson, but there's a small criminal named Caesar hiding at the bottom of the Tower of Terror.

A slow-moving queue gives one a chance to study the details installed by the Imagineers.

Tthere's always a big rush to exit the library in the Tower of Terror. But if you're smart, you rush to enter the library so you have time to look around and find little things like this hidden tribute to a very creative man.

I finally finished off my bucket list of shots in the ToT basement with this Twilight Zone prop two-fer. Every time I see a slot machine, I hear this one calling "Franklin!" in the episode The Fever. While researching that, I discovered that the flying saucer originally appeared as the Bellerophon in Forbidden Planet. It then made at least two appearances in Twilight Zone episodes: The Invaders and Death Ship.

Stormy skies work well with the tower:
