The Planning Board is still working out the kinks in the schedule. The lack of information about the status of Rivers of Light and the resulting park hours for Animal Kingdom is stalling our progress. In the meantime since FP+ windows are opening for the earliest arrivals, we have the following FP+ recommendations. As we did last year, we've tried to keep it to one FP+ per day, allowing everyone to fill in the remaining slots on their own. Thursday 10/20: Frozen 2:30pm Friday 10/21: Jungle Cruise 2:00pm Saturday 10/22: Afternoon Safari 4:00PM (we need to be in the queue at 4:00pm, so earlier is better) Sunday 10/23: 6:00pm Show - Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular Updated 9/4 to revise the Safari Time on 10/22
As I am already in my Fastpass window, this is what I was able to get when selecting times as close to the times listed above. Thu (20th): Frozen @ 2:15p (2:15-3:15 window) Fri (21st): Jungle Cruise @ 1:55 (1:55-2:55 window) Sat (22nd): Kilamanjaro Safari @ 6p (6-7 window)... It looks like the last fastpass time available is 6pm but all we'll need to do is enter towards the end of the window. I arrived at work already to make my FP reservations at the crack of 7, only to be welcomed by a currupt file on the development server. Here's what I was able to get at 8:30 am: Frozen 5:35 pm Jungle Cruise 1:55 pm Safari 6 pm (latest available) Indy 5:30 pm (for 6 pm show)
Made my FP+ this morning, this is what I got: NO FROZEN AVAILABLE, sad but I will live. Going to do Soarin' Around the World at 10:15, this was an awesome update as we got to see it in Disneyland last week. Jungle Cruise - 1:45 Safari at 6:00 Indy Stunt Show at 5:30 for 6:00 show. For those of you that feel sad for me because I did not get to the Frozen ride, I got one for Monday at lunchtime.

Change in plans - The Safari FP+ needs to have 4:00pm in the window. We need to be in the queue at 4:00PM so a window ending at 4:00pm or shortly after is better than one starting after 4:00pm Disney updated the park hours for October, including the Star Wars Fireworks at DHS. They're only running fireworks Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in October at DHS, so in order to see it we need to push the Safari earlier, giving us time to transfer to DHS. Don't worry, we'll head back over to Animal Kingdom Sunday evening after Indiana Jones so we can see the new nighttime offerings there. Sorry for the inconvenience.
